Blockademia as a sponsor at the “48 Hours” conference in Croatia
Lider Media’s annual conference titled “48 Hours”, a meeting of mayors and entrepreneurs, started yesterday in Pula, Croatia, at the Park Plaza Histria Hotel.
At this meet was Blockademia, Croatia’s Cardano-based startup.
Blockademia representatives presented to visiting business owners and mayors its decentralized system for issuing and verifying the authenticity of documents, all made possible by the immutable, secure and lasting properties of the blockchain system.
The president of Blockademia, Goran Težak, and Blockademia’s CTO, Denis Fušek, while meeting with the mayor of Split, dr. Ivica Puljak, and university professor, dr. Ernest Vlačić, discussed how document verification is one of the biggest challenges faced by not only the educational system and various businesses, but by every other sector as well.
They emphasized that the Blockademia project is a perfect example on how local authorities and similar institutions could bring an end to the various issues presented by falsified documents and their misuse, as well as taking a step forward in digitizing their day-to-day operations and bringing about “smart cities”.
Croatian startup Blockademia is a new Proof-of-truth® document verification system powered by the Cardano blockchain system. The Blockademia system allows Publishers to issue documents such as diplomas, certificates, attestations, etc. in an original, fast and easy way, and end users to check their authenticity using the immutable, lasting and secure entries on the Cardano blockchain.
